eduAcute

Medical simulation training

eduAcute was set up in Brisbane in 2015 to make simulation a bigger part of medical education. It was founded by Dr Michelle Davison, an emergency physician and paediatric emergency physician with a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Simulation, who has been developing simulation scenarios for more than 12 years.

Training at your practice

Face-to-face courses planned with you and tailored to your team.

Simulation packages for hospitals and educators

Courses range from complete simulation beginners to experienced simulation educators, and suit many disciplines. Packages are built around what you need:

  • a needs analysis and direction for your existing educators;
  • a customised course, with train-the-trainer so your own staff can carry it on;
  • full delivery of the course by eduAcute.

Free simulation training through Pipedreams

Through Pipedreams, eduAcute runs free simulation courses in CPR, first aid and crisis resource management for rural and remote communities that have no access to trained educators, using a train-the-trainer model. Proceeds from EMate help fund it.
